My Background

I cherished the times when my children were young and I could read them a book before bed. Now, since, my children have grown; I am able to volunteer at a community bookstore and fortunate to be able to share my love of children books there. There is something so magical and so special about children's books. How a simple message about love, caring, sharing, feelings, acceptance, and even just life itself can make the youngest child to the oldest person feel touched by its message.  I started this blog and shop so I can share some of my all-time favorites, classics, and new releases with you.

My Hobbies

I'm sure you have guessed it by now, but one of my favorite hobbies is reading.  I also enjoy volunteering whenever possible.  It’s a passion of mine to share my time just meeting people and learning about them.   Additionally, I love shopping and taking long walks. When the weather is nice, I take my dog Faith for a walk along the waterfront or hit the avenue for some shopping.

My Favorite Things

I love spending time with my family and friends. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and I absolutely love New York City. I do enjoy taking short-distance road trips to other cities or towns, Long Island, Newport, Boston, D.C., Alexandria-Old Town to name a few.  I enjoy so much to see new sights and the changes of different landscapes in only a  few miles.
